Our Hallowe’en show for 2015 will be Monster in the Mirror, a two-parter featuring adaptations of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Reserve or buy your tickets now for this month’s Summer Radio Mystery show, (Except When It’s a Matinée)! Perfornances are July 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25, with both a matinée and an evening performance on Saturday the 18th. For this show, we are putting out a call for original adaptations (or extant public-domain adaptations) of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. This was a reprise of PMRP’s gender-swapped take on the classic Star Trek episode “The Wrath of Khan”, featuring Capt. Jane Kirk, her half-Vulcan science officer Ms. Spock, and the crew of the starship Enterprise, originally performed at the 2015 Arisia science-fiction convention.

We are delighted to announce auditions for our first Spring Adventure Spectacular, featuring original adaptations of Maurice Leblanc’s “The Mysterious Traveler,” in which Leblanc’s gentleman thief Arsène Lupin engages in intrigue on a train journey, and Emma Orczy’s The Scarlet Pimpernel, the famous novel about a seemingly foppish and slow-witted English baronet rescuing people sentenced to the guillotine during the Reign of Terror in postrevolutionary France. Auditions are January 5 and 6 (with callbacks, if needed, on the 8th), and you can be a part of these adventures, as a voice actor or Foley sound-effects performer! Update:Paper audition forms are now available to download and print. You’ll want to print these and bring them to your audition.

The Post-Meridian Radio Players are thrilled to announce that they are seeking actors to perform in their next gender-swapped Star Trek: The Original Series episode — “Space Seed”! In “Space Seed”, the Enterprise discovers an ancient spaceship carrying genetically enhanced superwomen from late 20th century Earth, and their enigmatic warlord leader: Khan Noonien Singh.

It’s so close to October! If only there was a way to make more October! Alas our lawyers say we can’t actually increase the calendar. Phooey.
So we’ll just sneak in some early October this way: Anyone who purchases a subscription to The Library before October 2nd will get an extra month added. So it will go from Oct 1st 2014 until Nov. 1st 2015. 13 months of PMRP goodness including both this year AND next year’s Halloween shows!
